Girls Run The World, in collaboration with school Districts 129, 131, 204, The Aurora Police Department, City Of Aurora, Boys II Men and Latinos Unidos hosted an open forum for students to express their concerns of the violence plaguing the youth in Aurora.
This idea was created by the West Aurora High School GRTW participants and led by Officer Starr Pirela.
The students expressed their concern for safety within the school, lack of support, and what changes they want to be implemented within the school.
